“The scarecrow graphic was really special to me. This was right on the heels of Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. I was always a fan of Halloween ever since I was a kid. Mostly the imagery, the jack-o-lanterns especially. The iconic scene of Jack ‘The Pumpkin King’ was the inspiration for this graphic. I have always channeled my childhood into my snowboard graphics in some way or another, especially the early ones with Morrow. I love hearing people tell me that it was/is one of their favorite graphics of all time. Recently I have seen footage of people buying the old ones on eBay and ripping them in the streets. It made me want to bring back this graphic even more, and offer something that can actually rip around a park or be thrown down a 20 stair in the streets.”
