SIGNAL EXP. SoHo. Where Our Worlds Meet.

More Than Gear on the Walls.

It was a pleasure to host The Schizophonics and Dale Crover for last night’s in-store record release party at SIGNAL EXP. Appreciate all the friends and crews who came out to support.

EXP is Signal in exploration mode. Twenty years of snowboarding brought us here, but music, art, skateboarding, travel and the people we’ve met along the way have always been part of it.

That curiosity has kept us moving through the mountains, out on trails, skating with friends, finding new music and exploring the most epic spots in the world. Our New York shop brings that spirit into a space filled with well-designed gear for the adventures we’re all into. A place to discover something new, share what we’ve found and get inspired for whatever’s next. Same roots. More room to move.

Last night was a good example of what I want this place to become.

Dale played an acoustic set, ending with a Neil Young song that went straight into the Melvins’ “The Bit.” Epic. Then Pat, Sarah and Lety of The Schizophonics closed out the night with some serious karaoke. A hell of a finish.

Building a brand is one thing. Having a place where friends, musicians and people from different corners of our world can get together makes it feel real.

Thank you to Dale, The Schizophonics and everyone who came through. I’m grateful we get to do this, and I’m looking forward to more nights like it.
