Flagship Gathering No. 001
The city rail jam got cancelled. The energy didn't.
From 1-5pm, what was meant to be a quick pregame shifted to the SIGNAL EXP NYC Flagship. Doors open, boards came out, and the first hint of warmth in weeks hit the city.
People hung out. Swapped stories. Talked snowboarding. Threw fresh wax on their boards.
Guershon, aka Thekid6, pulled up with his usual electric presence and immediately lifted the room. The kind of person who makes things move, hyping everyone up, connecting dots, making sure no one stands on the sidelines. A true NYC magnet. He helped shape the vibe: good people, a board giveaway, and free seats on a trip to Camelback. The alignment today is natural, rooted in snowboarding, community, and unapologetically independent.
Simple. Authentic. Community driven.
It was our first hosted event. Low key. A test. One of many to come.
